Hotel Gran Via

The hotel is brilliantly situated halfway along the Gran Via (one of the nicest roads in Zaragoza). The rooms are very large and very modern in their layout and furnishings. Each room also comes with a hob, a laundry machine, a sink and a dishwasher that turn the room into a mini-apartment. The bathrooms are big too, and the water pressure is superb. The bed is firm but not too firm, so we got a great night's sleep. There were also spare pillows, so everyone got 2 to themselves.

The hotel is very well located and close to a tram and bus stop which will take you into the centre of town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the lady in the bar cafeteria worked incredibly hard and was welcoming and very efficient. The rooms are a good size and have comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning. The bathroom is quite large and fitted out with modern equipment. Lounge cafeteria area is spacious and comfortable and is used to serve breakfast which was regularly replenished and where a decent cup of coffee was made by the friendly counter staff. There are a few restaurants within a two minute walk including one called Mostaza which specializes (a bit strangely) in bratwurst and other similar dishes - incredibly busy but great fun and good value.

Bathroom very large and clean with plenty of towels. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet despite it being quite full (it seemed) and on a main road. The staff were excellent, friendly, helpful, efficient. The breakfast was self serve and good.

Overall, the staff are nice and friendly. The hotel is clean and quite quiet, well located.

The Staff were extremely helpful and friendly towards us. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast good value for money. The hotel was quite centrally located. Probably a 15 minute walk down to the basilica. I would definitely recommend it.
